What to Look for in a Provider

“Someone that will listen and keep trying to figure out my body’s needs to get me in balance”

“Someone who is thorough, looks at the whole person and is conservative with medication”

“Someone who can help me understand how my body works.”

“Someone to help with treatment of the cause instead of symptoms”

“Someone who listens & looks past my “in range” bloodwork & hears my problems & helps me find the root problem instead of just a temporary fix. Takes more than 10 mins with me.”

“Someone who listens and wants to help me feel better and does not dismiss my symptoms because I am a woman and “it’s just how it is.”

“Someone to listen and help guide me in non-medical (if possible) solutions”

“Someone who listens and can find the root causes of issues”

This is my new patient’s answers on their intake form over the last month. Why has this become such a rare thing? When did we lose providers who LISTEN to their patients? Is your provider these attributes? If not, you may want to consider looking for a functional medicine provide
